The Impact of Families in Vocation Discernment workshop helps vocation directors and those conducting candidate assessments deepen their understanding of how family-of-origin dynamics affect discerners' journeys.

Srs. Bea Eichten, OSF, and Maria Nguyen, OSB, will lead participants in exploring family backgrounds and their impact on relationships, flexibility, conflict, and transitions. The workshop also examines how family affects prayer, community involvement, and spirituality. Participants will be encouraged to share learnings, strategies, and insights to support discerners from various cultural backgrounds.
