As you become familiar with the new website, be sure to spend time exploring the Member Content area, especially the Vocation Director Manual (VDM) in the Resource Section. This online manual has been thoughtfully updated to support vocation ministers in their important work, offering more than 60 updated sample forms, outlines, and practical guidance.


Organized into eight sections and 42 categories, the VDM provides a broad range of resources relevant to vocation ministry. If your time is limited, a helpful place to begin is Section Six: Assessment and Application Process. This section brings together essential tools and updated resources that can help vocation ministers approach assessment, application, and discernment with greater clarity and confidence.


  1. Admission Process and Policies, including the updated Faith Inventory, Application Document Checklist, and Application Worksheet

  2. Assessment Tools, including the updated Medical Information Form, Medical Examination and Screening Form, and Proper Law in the Assessment of Candidates

  3. Canon Law resources to support informed decision-making
