Dear Beloved Members

You are amazing! You do the heavy lifting in a world where too many families are fractured, and too many young people feel confused, inadequate, lonely, and overwhelmed. You are often called to amplify the voice of God for people who hear God’s voice calling them from deep inside, even when it is not affirmed or echoed in their daily lives.
Vocation directors are the real deal. You get up early, stay up late and work long hours in between. You use technology effectively, and sometimes you travel to be with a discerner in person. You juggle a plethora of responsibilities, but when a discerner has a question, you do your best to respond with guidance and wisdom from experience and from what you learned in Orientation Program.
You never pressure anyone but remain convicted of the truth that God is calling women and men to holiness, and that this holiness can be lived with JOY in religious life! You share patience, you share stories, you share time, you share LOVE, and you model the fulfillment that religious life can be for those who hear God’s call and choose to listen.
After 10 years as the Director of Finance and Operations for the NRVC, I have had more happiness, excitement, and fulfillment than anyone would ever expect to get from a job. And that is because what I am doing is not just a job – I am blessed to partner with you in ministry. I am a lay ecclesial minister, a wife, and a mom working alongside the NRVC leadership team. I get the thrill of supporting the National Board, the Member Area Coordinators, our precious members, and our benefactors. What you all do gives me abundant hope! Thank you for letting me be part of your ministry and THANK YOU for making my anniversary with the NRVC very special. I am grateful!
Remember that I am here to serve you in your vocation ministry as a fellow Bearer of Hope. Whether you have a question about the services the NRVC provides, or you want to know the best way to pay an invoice, or you are thinking of making a gift to the NRVC, or even if you are interested in Mensuram Bonam, the Vatican’s document on ethical and faith-based guidelines for Catholic asset management and investing, you are welcome to reach out to me.
Please consider partnering with the NRVC in the Drexel Project so I can hand YOU a check at Convocation 2026. Hoping to see you in Orlando!
With LOVE!
Many thanks for your dedicated service to NRVC these past 10 years and for the boundless joy and enthusiasm you pour into everything you do. God bless you, Maureen!
