Bring your charism to life with the help of Gen Z

The NRVC is seeking applications for 25 micro-grants of $3,000 to support creative service projects that address urgent needs in local communities, especially under-resourced neighborhoods.

As part of the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM) Drexel Project, NRVC members will partner with nearby parishes to bring together at least three high school teen leaders and one adult parish companion. Teams will discern a service project they can plan and complete within 30 days between December and February, then reflect together on the experience through a theological lens.

The NRVC will select 25 diverse parish teams representing different geographic areas, religious institutes and service projects. Each team will receive $3,000 to plan and carry out its project and engage in theological reflection.

This is an opportunity to share the spirituality, patron saints, founders and mission of your religious institute with Gen Z while building meaningful relationships through service. The voices and ideas of young people will help shape each experience alongside NRVC members and parish companions, including employees, volunteers, and parents.

Selected projects and reflections will be shared through the NRVC YouTube channel, social media, HORIZON Journal and a new theological reflection resource in English and Spanish.
