At the March 3, 2026, Talk it Up Tuesdays session, Breaking Up Is Hard to Do: Saying No to a Discerner, Sr. June Fitzgerald, OP, and Fr. John Eustice, CSV, shared real-life examples of ethical and assessment challenges that led them to not recommend candidates for formation. Participants then discussed their experiences and concerns about saying “No” to discerners in small groups.
