I WAS SO FULL OF ENERGY AND IDEAS when I was first assigned to work in vocation ministry in 2010. Honestly, most of my ideas centered around the internet, YouTube, and the various ways we would help women become more interested in learning about vocations. Today, I still care about those things. However, I have learned that what matters most in vocation ministry has little to do with marketing and more to do with relating. Vocation ministry has become more about accompaniment, of both the discerner and their families.
